He wasn't going to beat out Mac and all accounts show Young to be the next superstar. Good luck to him. Miami is too small a school to have the whole family on the payroll. Might work better at FSU.

Best of luck to him. I have a friend who works for the team (attends practices, meetings, travels with team, on sideline during games, etc) and he told me last year that Taulia was NOWHERE near Tua's abilities and that we were lucky that we had Mac Jones to come in and play as well as he did. Saban always does what's best for the program so good for him for being honest with their family if true

I was told before Tua declared for the draft that him and his father sat down with Saban in private. The father ran the show and told Saban if Little Tua would be given the starting qb role when Tua left, Tua would stay for his senior year. Tuna wanted to stay for his senior year, but Saban would not promise the qb spot to little brother. Dad then told Saban Tua was leaving the program and taking little brother with them when the draft was over.
Say what you want to, but at least the coach didn't Kneal down. I suspect that every bit of this is true. I suspect that nearly none of it is true.

In that case, UCF is my dark horse to land him. Big enough enrollment hide a few stacks of money and they already show interest in Hawaiian quarterbacks.

What will Alabama do without their 4th string QB.
Beginning of the end All indications were he would have competed for the starting job given a spring training. Hell, I’d have hoped so. Mac Jones can’t be your best option. If I were Bama, I’d hope the season was cancelled.

There will be enough talent around Bama QB this year that he won’t have to be brilliant. A good game manager who can complete a 20 yard pass could look pretty good.

Speaking of the Tangovalavas, I just saw a TV commercial with Tua endorsing "Muscle Milk" protein shake. He has a ways to go to match the REC salary but it looks like he's on his way.  Tua! Tua! Tua!
