I got a pair of chips and have owned several pair...they are not waterproof at all...maybe keepem dryish in heavy dew. The waterproof chips aint even that waterproof. Something else to note about them, they have several models but only like 2-3 styles are made in usa. The originals are and thats what mine are....i wouldnt have their china boots...not the same quality. The waterproof chips are ching changs...decent boots...but still...im strugglin with givin a chicom any of my money ever again. Id bout just aa soon do without.

Mully, are those waterproof, if not how “water resistant “ are they?
The last 5 hunts I have hunted pastures with plenty of creeks we use for slipping around. I have kept the boots submerged in water for an average of probably 30min per hunt plus just regular dew and I have yet to get wet feet. My chips are the non waterproof but I put some mink oil on them right before season. My huntin partner has the same boots that are two years old and his arent leaking and he hasnt done chit to his. That's all I can tell you. It seems like some folks feet get soaked but so far mine have not.

I'll never buy another pair of snake boots. I'm gonna get some Turtle skinz leggings. I have a pair of the turtle skin gaiters I wear with a pair of Lacrosse Grange.

I'll never buy another pair of snake boots. I'm gonna get some Turtle skinz leggings. I have a pair of the turtle skin gaiters I wear with a pair of Lacrosse Grange. This year I finally decided to buy some. I wear them over some uninsulated muck boots. The most comfortable snake boot you will wear...
