Does it have any flowing water to it? I think most people put in a small pump fountain to help to the algae down. Depending on how bad it gets, it’s going to be tough to get anything to live in algae filled stagnant water. Mine is spring fed and had a bunch of algae...its got big bream and bass My exact situation.

3 or 4 carp will keep that pond clean for 20 years.
I can see 3-5 on occasion. Used to have 10-12 I’d see almost daily. 3-4 is not hacking it right now.
