It's not a ghost town all the time. Traffic is thin but people are still out.

It be's that way sometimes.

I don't know what the heck y'all are talking about. Very few people are actually quarantined. Just dumb arses that chose to live in the cities.

Primary: blow charges, dynamic exit, cross fields of fire, create fatal funnel, maintain speed while engaging the enemy and violence of action. Eliminate the threat and exfil the AO

Are we reading the Ranger field manual tonight? 😆

Costco is booming everyday and so is the Pike Road Walmarks. The majority of restaurants are offering curbside services and some have shut down completely. Like Kobe Japanese restaurant. The hotels that are usually packed have hardly any vehicles in the parking lot at all.

Yep, people are willing to go buy the necessities like milk, eggs, meat, and guns, but they're worried about going out to eat or pick up dinner. Louisiana shut down on Sunday. I drove across the entire state on I10 Monday, and traffic sucked. Stopped for lunch and gas and both locations were busy. Americans by nature aren't going to adhere to this shelter in place bs. I think the exit strategy is to go back to work, period. The at risk population need to stay cooped up as well as anybody showing any symptoms.

Urban centers like NYC are a whole different situation. I dont know what to do with that mess, but that's what happens when you have 9M people crammed into an area half the size of Crenshaw county AL

The quest for growth is gonna bite us hard. Interest rates have been in the gutter for to long, no incentive to save and way to easy to borrow.

I don't think so. They are going to play this for all its worth and no matter what is decided by this president they are going to call it wrong. The sad part is they are going to have a bunch of otherwise conservative voters buy into it because they are more interested in staying alive than they are of really living. Unfortunately, a significant portion of the population is highly emotional and illogical and will believe anything as long as it aligns with their fears.

If you don’t believe the economy is shut down, walk in to an airport. I’m sitting in the Birmingham airport right now and I bet I haven’t seen 10 people in the last 30 minutes and half of them were employees.
