Look at the amount of hook on those hooks! Congrats!

Guess the rest of us were just out there too early!

He has been gobbling good, but I never heard him this morning.

Congrats Fuzzy!

Yeah. I definitely left too early. I was back at camp at 830. Back in Montgomery having coffee with wife at her office by 920. Will regroup and try 'em again tomorrow.

I’ve only been 2 morning that I haven’t heard at least one gobble, now they haven’t all gobbled a lot but I’ve heard some. Had one gobble from 5:30 till 7:30 this morning and I bet the longest pause between gobbles was 2 minutes, he was wearing it out but when he finally flew outta the tree I haven’t heard him since

Oh no. I couldn't even get to the gate in my truck the other day. I had to walk in and couldn't cross the creek. Never seen it so high. This was at another place.

Heard nothing at daylight for the first time in a LONG time. Was thinking my three year streak of hearing one every hunt was over. Got one to gobble twice at 8:00. Went towards him and he hushed. I believe our birds are about done. Gobbling has really tapered off in the past week. Only hearing a gobble hear and there.

Finally was able to get my brother on one at 11:15 this morning. We had actually " stopped hunting" and was going to move a trail camera when he gobbled on his own. Got set up, soft called to him and then he got fired up. Gobbled about a dozen more time in the next 30 mins looking for us and unfortunately for him all he found was a beak full of TSS.

Glad that I got to be there to help get him his first.

Had one this afternoon gobble 200 plus times...was on it for 4 hours...did everything but he was hung up bad...had him at 60 and then finally got him to come to 40 for the girl who I was calling for and she spooked it...I did my job...she has never killed one but had a fun time...sucks to do all that work though on a pure giant
