US Influenza related deaths 2018/2019 Season in one year: 34,400.
US Corona Virus deaths today : 34,400 in 1 1/2 months.
Not even comparable. To compare this and the flu is ridiculous.

what's even worse, I saw an article from New Yok. It said that the medical examiners were given the green light to deem a death as "likely died from covid-19" even if the deceased tested negative but may have had some of the symptoms. I believe this virus is nasty and I don't want it. But I also believe the numbers are a little bit misleading. They do the same thing with the flu. Thats why it is called INFLUENZA RELATED deaths and is called an ESTIMATE.

What it does to the lungs is nothing comparable to the flu. There will be a large of folks with diminished lung capacity. I did not google that, the dr here told me that personally as he described what happens to ones lungs. He described it as when one grills a steak, that fluid everyone thinks is blood is actually enzymes. Covid lungs look very similar. That’s why he said he knew dad didn’t have it. Also been told some patients are placed on their stomach head down to help with drainage. Once again told by medical folks, not google.
Since it keeps being mentioned. I know of some that have yet to appear on the count. Around here they’re not fudging it.

Update on the numbers, Geno? I know the U.S. manufacturing some covid deaths skews the validity of the comparison but just for kicks, what do they look like, now?
