I don’t watch the news or nothing I actually find out what’s happening with the world though reading here. I didn’t know nothing about the virus and everyone was starting to freak out over it so I started paying attention. I feel the same way if the media and everyone wasn’t making such a big hype out of all of it I’m sure everyone would think they would have the flu or pneumonia and our economy wouldn’t be ran so deep in the ground

Why was South Korea not over run? I’ll tell you why. Because when the officials told the people to practice social distancing and to stay at home, the people obeyed. They listened. Compare that to Italy, Spain, France, NYC, New Orleans, and the UK. I can’t believe that some people watch the scenes of the ICU’s over run with patients where there are major out breaks and continue to say it’s a hoax. Denial aint a river.

How do you figure that? Which hospital are you working in? Who do you know that works in hospitals in NYC or New Orleans that is saying different? Might want to stick to your day job.

No South Korea kept the high risk people at home and everybody else just went on with business as usual. Man I’m not denying this isn’t a real illness. But face it. It has been blown way out of proportion, if the media had gotten hold of it we wouldn’t even be talking about it. When we cripple our economy it WILL be worse than this virus.

My day job is probably more exposed in a real situation than anyone in the medical field. Everyone I deal with is someone who was on the other side of the country 3 days ago So while the world is pampering the doomsday empire the real world moves on. Yes I hate it for those who’s lost loved ones but think of all the lives save from random traffic accidents while we live out this fairytale

I know I’m right. I work in it and around it. I know nothing about fixing automobiles, planes, trains, or haybalers, so I don’t try to steer people in the wrong direction when they have a problem with them. Some non-medical would do well to listen less to the media and more to the medical community. BTW, telling your friend he’s about to step barefooted on a rattlesnake is not spreading panic, it’s called caring about your friend.
