I get it, let's pause everything just in case this thing is as bad as initial models (it's not, by the way).

But at what point do these commissioners release an updated timeline for spring, summer, and fall sports?

With tests becoming more readily available, why can't these athletes resume their seasons and off-season programs while being administered daily tests?

With no immunization for at least a year, are we all going to stay just inside for a year? This thing isn't just going to go away.

Could 18-22 year old kids possibly contract the virus, beat it, and develop an immunity to it like most have?

Why are we staying inside for a year?
And there seem to be cases where people have
recovered and become infected again.

I don't see the need to commit to anything schedule-wise right now. Inconvenient maybe but I wouldn't release any short term plans.

I read an interesting article that was opposed to the 'flattening of the curve' idea. IMO that was a plan conceived by POTUS and his advisors to protect against problems associated with lack of beds and respirators. The alternative presented in the article was to allow the virus to run its course through the young and healthy, keep the schools open and quarantine the elderly. That would allow the masses to develop sufficient antibodies to combat it next time around. Seemed logical and I can see both perspectives.

I can see a revised season, if the proper things are in place. I saw a article that said 70% of fans would not go to sit next to strangers, in any stadium, or arena, for fear of this virus. This was a poll done from among people who usually attend games. How will they make money if no one attends? I guess they could get TV money with no fans. Then there is the health of the players themselves. It's not a easy thing to figure out.

attendance has been down anyways except for the really big games. Guarantee you Bama vs Georgia in Bryant Denny this year will be a packed house
