Any of y'all got any experience or know of anybody with a Canik 9mm handgun? A friend was looking at them yesterday and called me for my opinion. Until that moment I had never heard of them. I've read a little today but not enough to form an opinion.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

I handled one and was impressed, I think it won pistol of the the year a couple of years ago. Had better sights than the Glock. I haven't heard anything but positive reviews about it.

I never heard of a Canik, I did by a CZ P10c. It's a good shooter, no complaints.

I’ve handled one from Century Arms and the fit, form and function was very similar to my Glock. I may have even liked how it felt in the hand a little better than the Glock.
By “handled”, I mean spent a couple of clips on target. Sharp little weapon IMHO. I was impressed.
