My son is a senior. No prom, no spring band concert, no awards day, no graduation. I feel like I been robbed. They could’ve said “we’ll do online lessons for a few weeks, then take another look.” How about this. Guntersville girls soccer team had been on a tear. They felt like they were going to play for a state championship. 8 seniors. Season up in smoke.

Aunt Bea is a dumbass. Plain and simple. I’ll have to start calling her that. I been calling her “Grandmaw.”

Everyone passes this year. I just wonder after this is over how many parents will decide home schooling is a better option. Crazy times we are living in. I’m going to go with less than 1%.

Ha, I thought same. Probably more parents decide homeschool is a horrible option abso-freakin-lutely. We're both working from home, along with an 8yr old son and 6yr old daughter (who, frankly, is a thug). Day 1, we said something like "y'all are going to do something educational and a little bit of cleaning each day." By Day 3 it was "just go outside so we can get some work done." I heard a little commotion coming from GomerJr's room Wednesday and snuck back there to find them both standing ON his headboard and jumping off like it was a WWE ring...I managed to poke my phone in enough to get a pic without them knowing. My house has turned into Thunderdome.

What's the deal on this? Are they requiring online or not, i got a voice recording from our co saying continued studies but I don't see how it's possible with all the poor towns and lack of computers...

Several internet providers are giving free internet to low income families with children. Second, some schools are going to mail home packets (work sheets and such) and then have the teachers check in with the students once a week to check on there work and answer questions.
