We are in logging buiness an no problems so far. The company i work for has 4 logging crews. An excavating crew.equipment dealer. Mahindra tractor dealership, napa store an land company. At least 50 employees.Everybody still working . The upside to this is fuel prices is going down. We use a tanker truck load a week. Thats just road trucks..Also the mortgage rates should go down after this an that will be good for lumber prices. Maybe more people be building homes. We have missed a lot of work this winter with all the rain we having. Still a mudhole here in north al. We only averaging 3 days a week since january. Sawmills are laying people off because they can t get wood. Nothing to do with virus. Our main pulp mill make packaging boxes an thats booming now with all the online shopping. We usually miss work in winter time because of weather but this winter been ridiculous. I guess that why im prepared for the virus thing. The logging buiness could be gone tomorrow. Thats alway on our mind. I never assume my job is safe. The 08 crisis really thinned out a lot of loggers. Then the the ip mill closed in courtland it was a shock to all of us in logging . Lots of loggers went out buiness in this area. So far so good. Could be a slow down in short term but in long term i think it could be better for us. If it ever stops raining we will be good. Haven t had a many sunny days in a long time. Thats enough to depress you but spring is here

Wife closed her bakery/restaurant indefinitely. Too much risk for her and the elderly customers. I quit working at the gun store. Again too much risk with the high customer volume and close interaction. Wife's overhead is relatively low but it still costs for utilities, insurance, pest control, ect. We're going to wait it out a month or two and see how it goes.

Wife lost her contract with the school systems because she can’t see kids. I’m a hospital employee so business, unfortunately, is always good.

Y’all are on a really good tract in Cherokee. I see the log trailers full of saw logs it looks like.

Still working our full crew overtime. Our largest customer is in Illinois. They’ve got a waiver to keep running.

We'll eventually slow down & have to cut some employees. My stepdad already had to cancel a few appointments today because of customers not wanting to leave their homes.

I work in cable and internet industry and we are booming. Fortunately with everyon being at home they want their internet. I definitely feel for those not doing well and hope everyone pulls out of this.

Too early to say for us. We have a bunch of contracts that are supposed to close this month but I'm not sure how a mortgage company is going to hand somebody $300k with no way to verify when that buyer's next paycheck is coming

None of the full-time people at the University have been laid off because everything has shifted to online. However, a lot of part-time and almost all student-workers have been laid-off.

We were very fortunate to have a couple of large jobs that we’ve been needing to get done for awhile and we have been working on them during the slow down. Ever since 3/10, it has been much slower but still some jobs coming in. Luckily for us there are still pipes to burst, water heaters to go out, and other normal plumbing issues. Also, we only have 3 full time employees including myself, so I’m thankful for that during this time. It’s been wild though and I think this week will be even more interesting. We do fire and water damage cleanup, so we never know whos home we will be in. Our main thing is asking the proper questions before we go into the home to make sure our customer has not had the virus or been in contact with anyone who has, as far as they know. We are wearing gloves and masks in all homes.

I have three projects next week that the customer feels is essential to operations. Two are automotive plants and one is carpet textile in Dalton Ga. I hope that a lot of my customers will take advantage of slowed production and do maintenance work on their equipment that is overdue. I'm like Fur and am concerned about getting stretched out on payment terms, net 30/45/60. I am seriously considering not taking any PO's without quicker terms based on the nature of economics.
