I walked quite a ways yesterday morning and never heard a single gobble, but did get back to the truck and watch one fly off 20 yards behind it so theres that. Maybe itll turn tomorrow morning.

Walked up to look at him and........may win the lowest scoring adult gobbler taken this year. First slick legged turkey I have ever seen. Zero spurs on either leg. Makes me wonder how he hushed the place.

I had a new one this week when what I assume was a bear huffing caused the bird that was fired up on the limb to fly into parts unknown. Maybe tomorrow will be the day it turns. These hens have to start thinning out soon
