Maybe heading that way in the morning with my son. He is wanting to beat his p.b, any tips on what they are doing. Putting in around Brown's or Spring Creek.

I fished browns creek early in the week, caught two fish. Several boats out there, I saw one other fish caught and that guy left that spot 5min after he caught that one so he must not have been on them good. I threw everything we caught fish in there with last year, no good. Wish I had better news for you. I got there about 10:00am and fished 2 1/2hrs. Could have been an early or late bite and I just missed it.

They were shallow but we got a lot of rain yesterday.

Folks covered up Browns last weekend.

Just got home, we caught a few he didn't get his p.b but unfortunately I did. Man I wish he would of caught it, but that's the way it goes. I don't see how anyone can catch a fish there, every single spot I pulled up to had multiple boats on it. Looks like it is fished to death to me. Going to try it again midweek for a few days in a couple of weeks

Its best to go during the week. Ive seen the boat launch at browns creek completely full plenty of times this time of year.

It’s ALWAYS crowded this time of the year AND the Bassmasters Classic being there a couple of weeks back didn’t help anything.

I think a lot of guys off work with the shutdown.
Browns ramp looked like weekend on weekdays last week.
I never saw as many boats in water there as I saw Saturday on my way turkey hunting.

We fished short creek yesterday from one end to the other. Caught a few fish but nothing to brag about, not even close.

Browns creek will be blowed up for a few weeks throwing a damn jerk bait lol

Between Thursday, Saturday and Sunday we caught about 50-60 bass. Biggest was about 6#, few around 3# but most around 15-17". The catch is that I was fishing for crappie and catching them on small 2'' plastics. Bass boats were everywhere!!
