After all this craziness settles down, what, if anything, will you do different to be more prepared should something like this happen again. I can tell you for us, we will keep more of a non perishable food supply on hand, as well as keep a little more in our emergency reserve. I’ll also stock up on a little more ammo.
If voting made any difference, they wouldn’t let us do it.-Mark Twain

I've been prepared for a long time now. I'm relaxed and enjoying my turkey season.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

Nothing, got plenty of meat, food, guns, ammo and got my beautiful bride and 3 boys. We should be good. Plus the Good Lord watching over us

The only thing I will do different is to make sure I have plenty of yeast for bread making and not use the yeast I have to make some soured hog bait. I will be well stocked if it ever gets back in stores around here. I did find some online and ordered some. No bread in any stores around here. However I’m getting real good at making biscuits.

I was pretty much ready. We keep a truckload of dried beans and rice, and a full freezer. I have N95 mask, rubber gloves, plent of AR ammo, 9 mm ammo, seeds in the freezer. I do need a good portable welder/ generator and a 100 gallon diesel tank. If I had that I could live here for months without leaving my property.

I've got ample supplies but no one knows how this country will look, or even if we will still be a free, capitalist society when this is over. If we are down for a couple more weeks we will still , likely, get back to semi normal. Much longer than a month and we will likely lean more socialist and it'll be ushered in under the next president, be it Republican or Democrat. If you think that's farfetched , just look how easy the whole country has given over total control to the government and how many are begging the government for more help, restriction and regulation.
So, to the original question, if we come out of this with most of our rights still intact, I'll make better notes on locations that are known to hold essential supplies I might need when the next real catastrophe , and inevitable collapse, finally does come.
