Lots of products out there. Nexgard is a good one, but it is well documented that it can decrease the seizure threshold in dogs with seizures, or allow seizures to break through in dogs that have never shown seizure activity. Advantage Multi is a topical that is heartworm, intestinal worm, and flea preventative.I like it, use it on my dog. Doesn't do ticks, however. This is not usually a problem for inside predominant dogs.

I dip my dogs in Permethrin after I dip my outdoor work cloths every month or so. Get the stuff they have at the co-op because it water base and animal safe. Never had an itch problem.
