What does the mortality rate have to do with this right now considering that the average age of death from the corona virus is 80. Yes 80. The common cold would have taken them out.

All the US deaths are from a nursing home in Washington. Let’s pump the brakes a little bit before we start quoting mortality rates in the US because that’s an extremely skewed data set. Only one person under the age of 60 has died in the US. You can make rates and statistics say whatever you want if you frame your data set right which I firmly believe the media is doing. Every doctor I’ve seen quoted on this has said that most that will get infected won’t even know they have it.

Also every single US death had another illness (lung, kidney or heart disease; cancer, etc)

I’m still trying to figure out the toilet paper thing. When it comes to SHTF, I’m more of a traditionalist-guns, gold, gas, etc.

I never thought there’d be a run on schit paper

Conspiracy theory time: there will be a vaccine probably pretty soon. Everything is a rush. When I rush through stuff and don’t test it well, it usually doesn’t go well. When the FDA approves this quickly made vaccine without proper testing, who says the side effects won’t be worse then COVID 19? Just a thought from a dullard in lower ‘bama...

Mortality rate for flu is is ~0.07%, not ~7%.
COVID19 is ~2.3%
3x more deadly, but for elderly with health issues.

If quarantined, you dont want to wipe your arse with your hand.

If you’re quarantined at home for 2 to 3 weeks , you’ll need to clean your rear somehow.

Idk about all y’all, but I’ve got a whole chest of drawers with mismatched socks, undershirts with holes in them, and tshirts that I don’t wear just waiting to be thrown away.

I'd go or call to get a Tamiflu prescription

What kind of phucking moron would rather tough out the flu knowing there's a drug to lessen the symptoms and duration of the sickness?

Me, because I ain’t paying $90 to get one more day of relief. It’s ridiculous. I’ve had it three times and ain’t about to take tamiflu when I get over it in the same amount of time as those who do take it.

Millions have or have had the corona virus this year. The mortality rate is extremely low, just not reflected because most walking around with it haven't been tested.

It's also in Alabama, I don't know if its 10K, but it might be 100K who have had it.

Hell, I had it 3-4 weeks ago when I cam back from a trip to the west coast (Seattle/San Diego). I took a decongestant for a few days and was fine.

Y'all carry on.

I don’t know what kind of insurance you’ve got but the lowest I’ve paid for it for my kids was $68/pop and the most $90. I’ve always done without.

Here’s also the problem. The counties in the state of California are now refusing to run the test on other than the deathly ill. So naturally if you don’t test someone for it and confirm it then they don’t have it. But when you test the extremely ill and they have it and they die that naturally makes the mortality rate go up. I work in 3 different counties in the Bay Area and they’re all doing it. I’m seeing it every day.
