Going to put together a pistol in either 300 or 350. Any experience with these? I already have mags that will work for 300, plus they're cheaper. I think ammo selection is better in the BO but still keep considering the 350Legend
Anyone have experience with Bear Creek Arsenal uppers ?

Some buddies and I each built the 350 legend using the BCA 16” barrels. Everyone of them are great shooters with the Winchester 180gr sp. They shoot fair with the blue box feeder 180s. Only one of my buddies is shooting the XPs and he really talks highly of them. Unfortunately none of us have had the opportunity to kill anything with them yet. I see no reason why they wouldn’t do the job. I have no experience with a 300 and probably never will. Nothing about that round peaks my interest. But that’s just me.

If I was purchasing (or building) one today I'd go 350 legend over the 300blk, but since i already own a 300blk pistol & a straight walled 450 Bushmaster i have no need for the Legend

If you don't plan on using a supressor now or in the future, or have any recoil concerns like kids shooting I'd go with the .350.
350 is a great for a suppressor

350 is a great for a suppressor I'm sure it is, what I should have said is .300 has a lot of off the shelf sub Sonic options. .350 may as well idk never seen any, but never looked either

I have one in 300 BO I bought from AC on here. It’s been a great rifle/round. Many pigs have died from it. Another one I shoulda kept. That was a sweet lil gun.

No 223 mags work very well with either, without some mods. i haven't had any problems with my 223 mags for 300bo, but i have only used lancer or pmags. I have heard that some of the metal(especially older) mags needed some shaving on the follower. things i like about the 300 is #1. its very efficient out of a shorter barrel. #2 the mags, bcg, and ch are compatible with 556 platform. #3 very soft shooting gun. I don't have any experience with the 350 and i usually don't mess with a gun unless its been on the market awhile.

I'll probably stick with the 300BO. Already have a Ruger American in that chambering and have dies, etc.

I have a 350 BCA side charger upper. It doesn't feed 145 gr Winchester white box well at all but have had no issues with the 180gr hunting ammo. I think the 145's just don't have enough oomph to cycle properly in it.

How do you like the BCA ? They have some great prices I don't have enough range time with it to pass judgement but it shoots the 180 grainers in about 2-2.5". I'm going to try some other brands of ammo and see how it does but my range is under water right now. I do however like the side charger part of it! My big ol' hands and a scope make a traditional charging handle a PIA.

another thing to consider is that wolf is fixing to start sell steel case b.o. ammo. It should have been here already but was postponed a little due to the virus. Think its around 25 cents per round. Think its around 149 grain, subs will come out later.

Went with 7.5" side charger in BO. The mag cost sealed the deal.
Also have a drop in trigger and reflex site coming. Can't wait to put it together.

Side charger cool. Post up a pic when it’s together.
