Hank Cherry was leading and caught a nice one off the Warrenton Causeway riprap when I tuned in a few minutes ago.

Goober you know live bait isn't allowed. Minners are for perch fishermen !
Supposed to be cooler tomorrow, but no wind. I can tell you that a wind changes moves fish drastically on grass lakes. Particularly Guntersville. The bite should be better because with no wind more areas can be fished properly. Those guys without spot hold trolling motors caught hell today.

it's a completely different world this morning. Some are really catching them. Kinda surprised the three main baits are Chatterbait, Trap, squarebill. They are ALL in some shade of red. Todd Auten is an older Pro and a Chatterbait expert. Try to find a totally red chatterbait, you won't but I bet the market is flooded after the Classic. I think he has already caught a limit. They all seem to be catching males about 3 pounds. maybe later the females will move up and the slugfeast will begin. If they move to the docks as in the past it will explode on a jig. browns creek is really showing out.

Browns Creek has tons of large grass flats, RIP rap and everything thing else you want this time of year.

keep an eye on Matt Herren. He is a Bama boy(man) I've know for 30 yrs. He is a stick and if things break his way he will load the boat. He's in top 6 this morning.

GTO had Firecraw Jackhammer chstterbaits this week. But if you didn’t call or message them this week as soon as they posted they had them, you were SOL.
I got one. I know it’s crazy, but before the Classic started, I was planning to fish the Chatterbait in some of the places ol’ Cherry has fished. Brown’s is closest to my house. I didn’t think it would come into play in the Classic. Thought it would be an upriver deal. Now I’ll either go further back in Browns Creek or under the causeway and back out to the mouth side of the creek. I’d like to go couple hours today or tomorrow.
We came down the causeway while ago. Cherry has a lot of guys watching him. He appeared to be throwing a jerk bait.

You probably can't catch your ass with both hands GOOBER! AC you'sat on yer azz until now, go somewhere else. That guy is fishing for $300k. Don't go around him like some of the other inconsiderate pricks up there. One contestant had to ask a boat to back off. Winning this event will be worth several million in endorsements for some lucky fella. AC he is fishing several lures, but mostly a deep diving jerk bait. he is fishing injured, he fell yesterday and injured his right arm. He is right handed.

That gang of idiots is ridiculous. Guntersville is a pressured lake. All those trolling motors and electronics it has to be very noisy under water. SMDH
