Mobile Al,

Im picking up a NWTF Tristar over under 20ga in bottom land today from a guy and was wondering how you guys thought the factory chokes (there are 5 of them) would shoot or pattern TSS? Or is an aftermarket extended choke recommended (indian creek etc)? Would factory full or modified be ok for shooting #9's?

Not a pro by any means but I'd check out some other forums to see what combo (choke tube and shot) other people are using with this shotgun
When I need expert advice I tend to talk to myself The older I get the better I used to be

I’d try the factory chokes before I bought any

Try the full, modified and improved modified (if it has one) before spending one cent on new chokes. I shoot a full and improved modified in my CZ 20 with #9s and it's mighty rough on a turkey head or anything else it shoots. BTW, I ain't a pro , but you are welcome pay me for this fine advice ,LOL.

I'm no pro either, but my opinion is that it depends on what you are trying to accomplish. If you want to impress people by posting extremely tight patterns, then you will need an extended turkey choke. If your goal is to kill turkeys, then you will almost certainly be better off with the chokes that come with the gun.
