Just wanted to know if anybody has or had one. I have always leaned toward a Yukon or Tahoe. But, I have ran across a pretty good deal on one.
Mostly would just use it to pull a boat. Wanted to hear a few opinions on someone who knows something about them. Thanks.

It's not how much money you make, but how much you can keep.

Had an 03 with the 4.6 I believe it was. After about 100k I would have to change out a coil pack or two every year or so. Otherwise it never had any problems . Sold it 3 years ago but it's still going.

When one coil pack fails, replace them all. You'll be money ahead.
I had an 09 king ranch crew cab 4x4 with the 5.4L. I'm sure I'd still have it if some dumbass Elmoron didn't total it out for me.

I had an 08' Eddie Bauer with the 5.4L and I got rid of it at 100k miles. Looked new and run new when I sold it. I did replace a coil pack and the cat went out early. Seems like coil pack was under $200 and the cat was about $400 installed because I went with an aftermarket one.

You can buy 8 motorcraft coil packs for less than 200 on the interwebs.

It was a little under $200, not sure but that is an installed price. Guy I know did it and said it was a booger, something broke while he was doing it and he said it was common, don't remember but when it broke he said it was a pain to get out.
