Prayers for him. That was a nasty looking wreck. I sure wish the safety guys would have been in a bigger hurry when they looked in the car. Don’t have a good feeling right now.

Nascar news says he was unresponsive on his radio. In a replay you can see he took a huge hit in the drivers side door while upside down. The door and roll cage were really caved in. A video there shows rescue holding up screens to hide him being pulled from the car. All press was ordered off pit road. Kinda like what happened with Dale.

Similar to the crash at the Coke zero i attended several years ago when Stewart won, bush tried to block one too many time, of course he didn't get smacked on the driver side like Newman did damn. Prayers for Ryan & the Newman family

On top of slamming nose-first into the wall doing 185+ or whatever they were doing, flipping and getting hit in the driver's side, he then slid with sparks and flames on his side.
One of the worst wrecks I've seen in 30 years of watching races. Will be surprised if he survives.
