Thomas Jefferson. The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Life is too short to only hunt and fish on weekends!

If being a dumbass was fatal some of you would be on your death bed!

That's unreal. What a wild ride that must have been.

Watched the YouTube video of it this weekend. Pretty cool but not as wild as you would expect. Had assistance from a panga or 2 the entire time and spent the tail end of the fight in the panga fighting it not in the yak any more. The video and article are definitely click bait.

Why don't he just fish out of a boat? That looks like a huge hassle.

I caught my first kayak king last Sept in the gulf. Wasn't even a huge king and it took me right at 11 minutes to bring him alongside the Yak. I had a friend of a friend catch a small sail last summer, but I can't imagine a marlin....

You gonna pull them pistols, or whistle Dixie?

Pretty awesome. I know what a rush it was when I caught a few years ago on a boat. I can just imagine sitting in a kayak
