People should not be allowed to use HC hang tags or HC tags at all unless the actual HC person is in the car. It’s not for convenience or to hurry in and out of stores. It’s for the actual HC person. I hope you never experience having a disabled child. I wouldn’t wish this on a hated enemy. The care givers for disabled family members are under constant pressure to be available. If we are going to dinner without our son or to some activity not related to providing for his needs we park in the typical spots. If he is involved in any way we use the nearest available spot.

Clueless. Until you walk in their shoes you have no idea what, when, how they need to use a HC parking place. It is a need not a convenience.

I have a friend that is severely handicapped. Back looks like a serpent and legs look like pretzels, who half of the time can not get a parking place because of people just running into the store. So walk in his shoes. You should see what the hospitals deal with in their HC parking spaces. See it everyday. Even nurses that are walking the floors all night working park in them for mater of convenience.
