US Armed forces or 2 yr college. Way too many adults getting suckered in by their kids to go to their dream college just to flunk out or run up massive debt that most will never re-coop. 2yr nursing degree = $60-$100,00/yr Yep. My daughter will be an RN May 1 and be making $25/hr. with an $8,000 sign-on bonus the day after she graduates. She will only have 2 semesters worth of loans to pay off. The ROI on a 2 year degree is hard to beat.

Holy hell. My student loans were 3.X-4.X% I would suggest he do two years at a community college and then transfer to a 4year.
Student loan debt is financially strangling a lot of young adults. my student loans in 1990 were %11 But weren't mortgage interest rates pretty sky high around then also? My student loans are pretty much equivalent to what my mortgage is. Student loans were acquired in 2014 and paid in full come February 2018.

Prime was 10.0% in 1990 Then ya, 11% for the student loans in 1990 makes a lot more sense. 11% in 2020 for student loans doesn't make any sense, mortgage rates are near historic lows right now. Though maybe there's something I'm not thinking of or considering. I just know for a fact my student loans were 3.X-4.X%.
