DoeMaster OP 4 point Joined: Oct 2011 Posts: 382 North AL	Who can do it in or around the Huntsville area? Took it to one guy who said the cylinder walls are too thin. I’ve seen several that had it done so I think it may just be him not wanting to get into it. It’s a NEF pardner 12ga.

As previously mentioned, the cylinder walls on a 12 ga are thin to start with. Without drilling through the chamber wall, you might get 4 threads - maybe. Not near enough to hold reliably. I don't want the headache of trying to fix it later when the threads pull out after being bumped against something. There are two types of gun enthusiasts ... I removed the finish down to to steel on the barrel and sights and glued it. I have shot a dozen or so 3" shells through it since and it is solid. Fingers crossed but I really am confident that it will stay.

They were more experimental than anything and I didn't charge for them, but I haven't heard any negative reports. There are two types of gun enthusiasts ...
