Looks like a bunch of pre fab pods stacked up. I'd be curious to know how readily available bathrooms electricity, heat and cooling are to each room. Pffft, first world problems

If it was 10 days start to finish, concrete couldn't have been poured the first day. As thick as the footers and foundation for something that big would have to be, can it even cure in that much time? It's cool to see, but sure would be bad if it collapsed on them. We are pouring concrete for a new zeolite system install that requires a 4 week cure time.

I dont think the Chinese are worried about longevity or fancy public architecture for this structure. They just needed a pad for a bunch of pre-fab pods to sit on. I bet they demolish the thing in two to five years once this problem passes.

Looks like they poured a slab and stacked up prefabbed units. Still impressive for 10 days.

There’s a place in Bessemer that makes prefab “hospital rooms” for lack of a better term. They are basically a portable medical facility for large job sites and such. I guess they could be used in a situation like this. As someone mentioned above, the headline is more impressive than the finished product.
