When the emu/ostrich scam finally hit and everybody got tired of feeding those two legged hogs they started turning them loose on Eglin AFB. Biggest turkey tracks you've ever seen.

I watch one of the bastages kick on old man through the wall of a barn one time. I was running service on a mobile home in college and was on the roof working and the old man was in the barn feeding this would have been in 1998. All do a sudden he comes falling through the wall of the old barn that Emu had kicked him and broke 3 ribs. The wife comes out and gets him takes him to the hospital and he comes back all bandaged up. Goes straight in the house and gets his shotgun and back to the barn and shot the damn thing. They invited us to stay for super but that was one of the nastiest houses I have ever been in and he was hauling the meat in the bed of his lawn mower trailer from the barn to the house to process it. I will remember that till I die we laughed our ends off that day. Donnie Jackson was the Forman I was on service with he taught me a lot, was a good guy and worked as hard as any on his crew when we’re setting up shows etc.

I use to own a few , shake a gallon bucket with some corn in it he'll come and stick his head in bucket grab him by his neck and you can lead him anywhere you want to go except a horse trailer, to get him in a trailer stick his head in a shirt sleeve where he cannot see and lead him where you want, best of luck
