I take it you have a Yukon or Tahoe too? Or are all the new GM's that way. If so, my cheat was I didn't tighten the screw that was hard to get to. next time I can just go through the hood.

If you cant change a battery or a headlight in the parking lot of an Auto Zone the vehicle aint worth having.

You ain't cussed someone's mother until you've replaced an oil pressure sensor on a 5.3L....It should be a law that the engineer has to perform the maintenance act on the product he/she designs.

Won't say the brand but I looked at a headlight module. When headlights ain't headlights and are modules cuss words are sure to follow.

That was literally a 15 minute job when I did mine...Well I guess 30 since it took another 15ish to get my tools out and put them back up. Couldn't even see it. Did it all by feel.

In my wife's car....you have to pull the tire, liner, to replace the mutha beeping headlight bulb.

Try to change the turn signal in a Jeep Patriot. I design stuff for a living. The dude who designed that needs an ass whuppin'.

I had to pull the entire front bumper and grill off my daughter's Charger a few weeks ago to change out a cracked headlight assembly. Ridiculous.

Another time she had the battery die and I needed to replace it. The battery is in the trunk. There is no lever inside the car to open the trunk, only the small electronic button on the trunk lid or from the remote - so it's an electronic locking/opening trunk. Think about this. The battery is DEAD. How can you open the electronic trunk when the battery is DEAD so you can replace the battery?? I had to open the back of the rear seat and crawl through a space much smaller than my body to reach way in with a flashlight to find the emergency pull tab where you can open the trunk from the inside. WTF??? RIDICULOUS.

I had a GMC Acadia for a short time that I inherited from my Dad after he died. Went to a dealer to get a headlight bulb replaced. They said we can get right on it...want us to replace both while we are there? I was in a hurry and had no garage at the time and it was winter up North, so I said, sure!!, then an hour and $275 later, they said I was ready to check out. I'm pretty sure the service managers head is still ringing from the tirade he got from me on that BS!!!
