Anyone have a shop recommendation around Birmingham that would install a leveling kit on a 2016 chevy 2500hd? I've gotten a couple quotes around $115 per hour at 3-4 hrs. Been a long time since I paid anyone to work on a vehicle I own but that seemed high for bolting on parts but I could be wrong. Thanks in advance!

A&R Tires in West Jefferson. I doubt you'll find a better price. They are about 15 minutes NW of Bham if you take I-22

What is the reason for leveling a truck? Is it just for looks? Does it affect towing? Some what for looks but I also really dislike how much rake the truck has. It does affect towing at the upper end of the towing range but I rarely tow more than air.

What is the reason for leveling a truck? Is it just for looks? Does it affect towing? Looks better, the front end doesn’t look like it is diving into the ground. Also, it allows you to run larger tires. Those combined give you more ground clearance.

Do leveling kits cause premature front end wear? I've heard that from a couple of folks.
