I have a great deal on a 3 bedroom condo for next summer but there is just one problem. It only comes with 2 parking passes and we would have people going down in three cars. Is there anywhere to park a car even if it's for a fee in the Gulf Shores area? Thanks for any help.

If it's in a large complex, there should be visitor spaces. If not, surely you can find somewhere close by to park and walk.

And let us know if you find anywhere good to eat down there.

We asked and received from the property management company a third pass. We had three couples coming from three different places, thus needed three passes.

Our condo gives an owner's pass and one for a visitor. Any beyond that is a fee.

Like mentioned, most will sell you another pass. Or, if you know someone else that may be there, but only took one car, see if they would get the 2nd pass for the extra vehicle.

If you rent through a real estate company / property management they usually have something set up with a grocery store for overflow parking. I know Meyer did with Brunos for years. But if you go with an owner you are taking your own risk parking on private property without a pass. I would tell them to park at the State pier parking lot. It's safe and secure.

You can park at any of the 2500, or so, eating establishments in the area. The lots are never full, and if you wear baggy shorts with knee-high black socks, you'll fit right in. RELAX! They want your money & aren't going to say a word to you.

Oh yeah, try this and report back how well it works. Papa Rocco's (and I suspect many others) has a full time attendant outside getting people in and out of the lot. He see's you drop a car off and not go inside, that car will be towed before you get back to your condo. There are signs in the Walmart parking lot against overnight parking too. There are tow trucks waiting to haul them away. Call and pay for a third pass, it's MUCH cheaper than the other options.

Guess it’s hard to tell when someone is trying to pull someone’s leg. Either that, or I need to pull harder.
