I went to claim a knot head I shot as a doe for some back straps. No visible antlers just furry knots that haven't broken the skin. When I went to game check i selected unantlered and male. Do these not count towards the 3 buck limit? Sorry if this has been answered before but it was bothering me if i wrote it in my license wrong.

It says "bare " antler in the book so that was my assessment . Even gives you a choice of Male or female under unantlered deer check in

It would be reported as an unantlered deer category but as a male deer.

Un antlered and male. Does not count against your buck limit.
