Must see, extremely clean 2005 Stratos 285 Pro XL! Garage kept! This boat had been used very little. It runs great and everything works. It's ready to go to the lake and catch fish. Loaded with bluewater LED lights, beautiful at night. Lowrance HDS 7 Touch Lowrance Hook 5 HDI Both units have maps, DI, and SI Bluetooth system that sends the HDS 7 screen to an IPad. (That's what the Ram mount is for) Hydraulic steering Minn Kota Maxxum 80 lb. Trolling motor is hand controlled, but still a $900 trolling motor. Keel Gaurd No hot foot. Carpet and Sears are perfect. That is a beautiful boat that is in great shape and a Stratos hull is a fast and stable ride. I wish I was in the market. It's one if the cleanest boats I've had. Im with you. I love the color of it.

The reason i ask Klay is that in the 90's a 285 was rated for a 175. I wonder why they dropped it. The powerhead should be the same so weight shouldn't be an issue. I'd bet it was just too fast for some to handle.

I'd bet it was just too fast for some to handle. I think they changed it around 99 or 2000. I had a 93 with a 175 on it that was absolutely mint condition. I loved that boat. It was before my dealing days.

I'm glad that's not a 20 footer. I've got the glass boat bug bad, but on Friday and Saturday nights I can think about getting a glass boat and turn my head and see my daughter who is home from college on the weekends.... Bug squished.

Bug squished. Dad has one identical to this except a different color. It’s a fine little fishing boat, runs in the low 60’s and gets great fuel mileage. If I didn’t have my little tin boat I would be all over this.
