I just been laying here trying to see if it gets better. Because my bcbs of alabama costs me $250 copay for hospital visit. And after about 1k in ER visits this year, im just trying to make sure before i go. Im hoping its a pulled muscle. Now the pain moved to my inner left thigh. If i poke on it, it hurts. It's gotten a little better since i been laying here for the last couple hours. Its ridiculous to have to pay 250 for er visit. Im gonna go to ER in the morning if it doesnt get worse. I might go here shortly though.

I cant believe im having to go back to pay $250 again. This will be my 6th trip to e.r. in 1.5yrs due to doctors misdiagnosing me. But im grateful that they were wrong. They said my heart was dialated, spot and lung and bleeding liver! Specialists told me i was fine. After 2nd opinions too. Huntsville Hospital really screwed me on all that. Thats why im trying to wait to spend the 250 at crestwood. Im in debt with med bills from their mistakes. It was better for me to pay it than to run around begging doctor statements and court or whatever they make you do. That was a long story for another day i guess. Im 38 and really been falling apart the last few years.

BCBS has a much better co-pay on an Urgent Care or other walk in clinic visit.

I had 2 hernia surgeries. I put 1 off for a bear hunt. Felt it pretty good packing out. Surgeries not bad, they knock ya out. Good luck

I have unfortunately witnessed a couple friends and family members suffer from undiagnosed intestinal blockage/crimping/etc and it was miserable for them. It seems odd that Drs apparently miss this stuff a lot. Anyway, if you suspect something along those lines I wouldn’t fool around with it. Be aggressive about making the Drs diagnose what’s going on with you. The people I’m talking about nearly died because of extended issues before diagnosis.

Pretty sure not a kidney stone. I was puking on hospital walls begging for help i was hurting so bad. Cost was not in my vocabulary at time. Sure hope u get better . I would go to dr for sure soon as possible

Please don't let $250 stand in your way. Go to an urgent care or the ER. IIRC you have a family, and you should do it for them because they want you around.

If it feels like a hole going towards ya innards, its prolly a hernia. Thats how I found my 2nd one.

The first one was at a flight physical. Doc said cough, cough again. Then he said cough again, i backed up and said 2 cough limit per nut lol. He said I think ya have a hernia smartass...

Depends on how they do the surgery as to how it hurts. Go through bellybutton no big deal. If they cut you open plan on a lot longer recovery, but you need to get checked out as it could be a lot worse and it's not going to get better by itself.

An urgent care can check for a hernia.

Rub a little vagisil cream on it

Look at it this way jake, the $250 (if its even that) is a small price to pay if it saves your life. Even if it keeps you from spending $1000, $5000 or more if the problem gets worse. Not to mention thats a small price to pay for comfort (finding out it aint serious).

Me personally, I would go to ER. They have more equipment and can run more tests.

Well im still in bed lol. Its gotten better. Id say half the pain is gone. The sore pain is in my left thigh and it radiates through my private area. Its weird. Id go pay the $35 copay to a doctor but im afraid they will just send me to the e.r and make me pay another $250 copay. BCBS of alabama i have. Well, i better go see what they say after while. I was hoping id wake up and all would be good. I will keep yall posted. I will hit the doctor late this evening if it doesnt get worse. Meanwhile im gonna lay here and hope it goes away cause it has gotten a little better. Yestersay it hit me bad and quick. I had to get out and let the wife drive me to e.r then i told her just to take me home to lie die cause the road bumbs hurt so bad. Dang i cant believe im injured Again. This is gonna have me down for a while it seems.

No pain in abdomen today. Yesterday it kinda radiated up there some. I will hit my doc after while cause it still has me laid up. I will let u know what they say. Thanks
