Like a dumarse I’m sitting in a tripod on the tallest hill on our place in some young pines. Sure is cold way up here.

I’m in a ground blind watching the back of a lane. I SHOULD have brought the little propane heater. I’m doing good but toes are just a tad chilly. It’s just an hour hunt before work. You can tell cold is affecting deer. They’ve cleaned up 50 lbs in a day.

In house on planted pipeline, let a nice 9pt walk 3 times yesterday afternoon, tending doe, big deer, very little brows. Saw a good one a mile away with spotter where I am sitting now

In house on planted pipeline, let a nice 9pt walk 3 times yesterday afternoon, tending doe, big deer, very little brows. Saw a good one a mile away with spotter where I am sitting now 1 doe, 1 boar hog , he gets a pass on rut hunt

I reckon im the only idiot out here. In a shooting house over a heater which is running out of gas. I have saw 6does so far but I dont know how long ill make it without this heater. Was planning on sitting here till 8:00 then going to work, might not happen I'm in a shooting house on a power line, no heater. Toasty toes in the muck woody max and hot hands in the gloves. All is well. Dressed warm. I've seen 2 bucks trailing does. 1 too small, 1 too far. Been a good bit of activity, guiet since 7:45. Hope the wind stays like this, it wont
