Oats wants us to continue to shoot threes, well if we do, we better be ready to get some more offensive rebounds, because our three point shooters are worse than the little sisters from the poor. Try again. Bama is ranked 67 out of 350 teams for 3pt%. Vandy is the only SEC team ranked higher. For perspective Bama is 36%. Vs the number 1 team ST Mary’s who is shooting 42.1 %. Bama has attempted 461 3’s, the 38th highest among all D1 schools. Better reevaluate your statement.

Most impressive thing about them to me so far is that they beat auburn and almost beat Kentucky on the road when they couldn’t hit 3’s. So they don’t live and die by it by any means but when they are hitting them they will be tough to beat. And I guess after last night Bama has the best 3 point percentage in the conference. Somehow Vandy was 0-25 last night on 3’s!

Somehow Vandy was 0-25 last night on 3’s! Yes.. the Kentucky game impressed me more than the Auburn game. I’m not knocking Auburn. They are a really good team, but Bama was hot and on the home court. At Kentucky, like you said, they couldn’t hit a three, but fought hard and nearly out Kentuckied kentucky. Their ability to drive the paint and move without the ball, not to mention actually hitting free throws is night and day better than last year. I like the direction they are headed.
