Can it be mixed by hand or would i need either a hand or stand mixer?
Dont have either at the camp but this could be a good substitute for the crock pot dump cakes I make often.

I’ve got this in the oven right now and it smells delicious. Really looking forward to trying it out.
Had it with some strawberries and whipped cream and it was fantastic! Much better than the Paula dean recipe my wife and I had been using and much easier. Thanks for sharing!

Mrs Grissett hailed from Atmore, AL & you can thank her for this wonderful recipe; she passed away a few years ago, God rest her soul ... i can only imagine what her other cooking must've tasted like; i got this recipe from her son in late 2018 & immediately tried it out ... i found & sent him an old dutch oven as a "thank you" for this recipe; a good trade, in my book

I have it in the oven baking right now as I type. Can't hardly wait for this hour to pass.
