There are about five subspecies here and the reason why we went till Feb 10th then statewide. Couple guys killed small bucks over the weekend but they weren't really chasing. Today is the first day I haven't hunted since Saturday and I've only seen 1 buck chasing. Very little deer sightings and even my cameras that are on food plots that were loaded with deer last month have very little activity. It's been very strange.

Last year we hunted MLK week and felt like we were a little early. The first week of February has been pretty good for us over the years as long as we had good weather. We’re heading down the 31st for a week, hopefully they will be on by then.
