Its my personal stand. Safe as can be but takes a little getting use to it. My kids have never batted an eye going up and down but I have had 2 grown men lockup on me half way up and wouldn't go up or down. One time the ladder froze up while me and my daughter were in the stand and I wouldn't let her come down until someone brought me a large rope. I ran it over one of the angles up high and tied her off and had guy on the ground keep pressure on the other end as she climbed down. but.....why?

No need for all that...jjst call jwalker n let him climb up there n fix it 😃 Ill tell you something. I dont mind crawling around in a tree but on top of a roof that high up makes me a little nervous. Getting up there and putting the tin on aint that big a deal but you better have a pretty good plan for getting down.

Would it be possible to build a roof out of lightweight aluminum rafters and tin and use a rope to hoist it up and secure it from the inside? This is the only way to do it if you ask me. Other than that, find somebody with some beach balls and buy the materials and see how much he'll do it for.

I’ve been 60’ up in a climber on a big pine and was fine unless it whipped with the wind. But that would have me puckered up.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

If there's a good road access, I would think about pre-fabricating my roof on the ground. Then hire a lightweight Derrick or small crane to hoist it up. Make all the connections from inside the stand. Nobody has to get on top of it without a safety line. You "could" do it with a tall man lift, but it'll cost just as much and be more labor intensive. I'd climb that sucker any day and twice on Sunday. That's a good looking stand.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.
