Got a buddy across the river that likes coons. He will take 3-4 at a time. The rest go on a burn pile.

Skinning them out is pretty easy. It is preparing the hide that takes time. I know a couple hard core coon hunters. They love it for the sport. But the hides at least pay the fuel costs.
I have eaten it as BBQ and in stews and veggie soups. Not bad.....if it isn't an old boar. Putting up a coon is a lot of work for $5.
