I really don't know if it was a Russian or an Iranian missile that brought it down, but the video was pretty compelling. Of course, it was shot from a long way away and wasn't timestamped, so there is the possibility that what the video shows is not what happened anyway. What I do know is that Tehran airspace was "closed" at that time, and the jet wasn't even supposed to be taking off. "You think I care? Roll Damn Tide" Have you tried Google?

Also there is a pic showing what is clearly the back half of a missile lying on the ground. All taken by local Iranians and posted to their social media. ******** Russia supplies BUK anti-aircraft missile battery to its stooges in the Donbas and they shoot down MH-17 over eastern Ukraine thinking it was a Ukrainian military plane.
