Last year's gun show (the last time I was there) had no metal detectors. And actually very little security at all.
I guess they figured guys attending a gun show could take care of themselves. 👍

We were at the Von Braun Center on Friday.
To get into the Arena requires going through metal detectors.
To get into the Playhouse for a play or concert, you walk in with no check whatsoever.
VBC officials have created a venue of soft targets.
