Made the trip up this morning for the last weekend for Indiana it's archery only now
Got here about 1200 and did a lil looking and decided on where we was gone hunt this evening my buddy saw 5 bucks and filled his buck tag on a old warrior 6 point made a heck of a shot on him and put the dog on it and he went about 75 yards and went to sleep he's a 5 yo buck at least if not older weighed well over 200 lbs least it wasn't a terrible long drag
I saw 5 does but I'm tagged out on does up here
Giving snow showers for in the morning I got a feeling these next 2 days may just be some real good hunting
Did kinda suck setting in the rain but at least it weren't bad cold

Weather that came in jackedem up this evening and don't see but a few I was in the same spot as this morning and saw 3, buddy was in different spot and saw 4 or 5. It's crazy they done shedding up here and just starting to rut at the house.
We gone hunt in the morning and load up and head about after we come down so maybe they will cooperate this is usually a lil better place for mornings anyway.

Well we almost went out with a thwack we saw about 25 total between the 2 of us all but 8 were bucks of various sizes had a nice small 8 at 21 yds he gets a pass till next year saw a real good 8 mid 130 deer but didn't have a pin for him all in all it was a good couple days hunting saw a ton of deer and lots of bucks that will be be bigger and better next year. We headed home now and I'm tired and ready to get there and get up in the morning and do it all over

What county are you in Ar1220? I hunt private land in a top 5 county for deer and have not seen those numbers (Jefferson and Switerland Co). You are a lucky man.

We on some leased ground in Gibson Co around princeton

My buddy has had it leased for about 15 years I'm just lucky I get to go up and hunt with him about twice a year
