In Coosa Co in a box stand overlooking a plot next to some hardwoods and a sage field. 1st sunrise I’ll see from a stand this year so I’m excited. May be on doe patrol today. Was gonna sit in a climber I have in a hardwood draw but wind completely wrong so had to go with plan B. About 8 degrees cooler up here than in Montgomery. Good luck to all.

In a climber on public land. Just had a deer come through from right to left at 30 yards. No rack, doe or maybe a spike.
The weird thing is that it came exactly from the downside of where my scent was blowing to.

Hunting a cut over in Butler county.

In a tree this morning about 75 yards from the very top of this mountain. 2 draws come up here, it’s a long shot to catch a deer in here I think. Woods is too pretty, some huge oaks in here. Good luck

In my favorite ladder stand in Bibb co with the wind to my face. Brought everything I need for a long sit. It just feels right this morning.

Up a tree way up on a mtn in Jackson County this morning. Deer seem to be getting frisky, maybe one will come cruising by. I know of 2 10s killed last week just across the valley from here that were running does. Good luck everybody.

Had a doe just slip by. Couldn’t see her head until she got in some thick stuff.

Killed a yote already not sure if anything else will come through with him laying 80 yards down wind.

Good luck! Our bucks were starting to get up and moving around a bit this week. My dad missed a shot opportunity on a nice one that was freshening a scrape line saturday.

Haven’t seen a thing yet. On the way to the farm this morning I did see 3 in my neighborhood. One small 4-5pt was showing interest in a doe. Not sure if it was a sign or just coincidence.

Watching a creek crossing where I killed a good one feb 9 this year. Nothing but squirrels so far.

In a hardwood swamp that borders a pine plantation. Had a doe ease through about 715, nothing else since.

Couple of does just came out in the field.

Setting in a hardwood draw where I can see part of a green field and edge of a pine plantation . All I need now is some action.

Son just had a buck chase a doe behind him. He couldn’t get the buck to stop.
