I took my son last saturday to a little 5 acre spot we have. We seen 2 small bucks but they never gave us a good shot. Sundays weather washed us out, so Monday we headed out at 11 to hunt the midday hours. We've had several bucks on cam but one stood out and we called him the big 8. Monday we got there and sat for a few hours. He and I both were getting extremely bored so we decided we would leave at 330. We hadnt had any pics of the big 8 other than the midday hours anyways. At 2:50, I catch movement and see a fawn. I turn the camera on and tell him to get ready. It is standing behind a dead cedar and he has no shot. I hit a can call and picked my binos up to see another deer coming. It turns out to be a bigger doe. I then see a rack come up from behind the doe. I can only see his right side as he stands there for several minutes. He finally breaks away from the doe and comes on in. He shot him about 100 yards and dropped him in his tracks with his 7mm-08. This is his third deer and first buck. We had to pick out a place for him to put him on the wall and we're gonna take him to the taxidermist and let him pick his mount out. He and I both were some kind of tore up when he was coming in. We had to watch him for 8 minutes according to the footage. I checked the camera and wouldnt you know, he made his first evening visit the day before.

That's the GOOD stuff! Congrats to that young man!!

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.
