Got some beagle pups Im working with right now for rabbits. I coon hunted in the past and had the Garmin Astro 320 I believe. Im looking into a new system now. If I go w/ the Alpha and 2 collars Im looking at just under a grand. Theres a newer one Im not familiar with thats called the Dogtra Pathfinder. For that system +2 colllars Im looking at around 650+/-. Just wondered if any of yall had any experience with the dogtra/ and or the alpha

I use the alpha 100 on my tracking dog and haven't had any problems most everybody I know is using the Garmin stuff nothing to add good or bad on the dogtra
You can find them alpha collars fairly reasonable on eBay that's where I got my spare

I use the alpha. It is a good system. Astro is good to but does not have e collar if that is wanted, and does not have the touch screen. I know nothing about the dogtra. The long range mag mount or dog box mount antennas are great to get better reception if a dog runs off very far.
