I still shoot a pre-war (WWII) German Ajakenkroll scope. 7.5 fixedX55mm with a very heavy post. 80+ year old scope, refurbished in 1970. Hell of a low light scope. Awesome.i bet if you carried that to a gun show everyone in there would be drouling.thats a hell of a cool hunting scope

Have a Leupold gloss VX-III 2.5-8x36 that I purchased new in 1986 on my Ruger Tanger RSI M77, .243. It has taken a coyote at 249yds. Have a German Pecar Berlin 2.5-7x32 on an early 70's military import Sako Model L579 Forester, .243. Works perfectly, very clear. Have a 1972 Weaver , made in USA, steel tube, V7 fixed; just sent it in too Bushnell. Has gotten a little foggy. hope they can fix it.

I’ve got a Bushnell on the old 30-30 that my grandad gave me when I was a kid. My dad bought the scope off a club member when I was 13 and I’m 49 now, 36 years and it’s still dead zero at 150 yards. The scope on my 30-06 is a bushnell that I’ve been using for past 25 years.
Finally deported myself from the peoples republik of Kaliforkistan.

I have a 1980 Bushnell Sportview mounted to the same rifle since around 1980/1981. The glass is terrible compared to today's standards but it has NEVER lost zero since I have owned it. It was a cheap scope back then too... That's why I don't buy into the whole excess spending on scopes thing...
If I woke up tomorrow with my head sewn to the carpet, I wouldn't be more surprised than I am now. -Clark

I have a Kahles Helia S with a steel tube, 3-12 x 56 mm and a couple of Zeiss marked West Germany.
Also have a Swarovski so old the box is light green.
I would rather have a 20+ year old Swarovski than most stuff made today by the asian scope makers.

I have a Kahles Helia L 3-12x 56mm that I bought in 1980. I also have a 8x56mm Swarovski with 1 inch steel tube that I bought used that is older. My wife's 742 carbine still has the Tasco 4 x40 I put on it in 1975.

Don't know how old it is, but I have an old redfield accu range wide angle, that still holds zero and tracks well
