That is what it has felt like since Friday. Went to the doc in a box today and they told me sinus infection and double ear infection. Shot and zpac but throat is still super sore.

I’ve got the exact same thing. Was so bad I was blowing blood out of my nose. Zpack three days ago with Flonase and I’m on the up and up now.

A tall glass of HOT tea, coffee or chocolate with a few tablespoons of lemon juice and a tablespoon of honey. Basically Granny's XX remedy - the corn squeezings + a hot liquid to actually help cut the fleam. (Spelling?) Gulp it down and then throw it up if need be. But it will cut that mess loose. It needs to be as hot as you can stand it. It's not going to be pleasant but it works.

Guy at work said pickles and pickle juice. Haven’t tried it but may be worth a shot

If anything else...you won't have to worry about cramps for a while.

Gargle warm salty water... 3 to 4 times a day.

Table spoon of honey 3 to 4 times a day. Let it melt in your mouth and run down throat.

Pineapple juice.

Salt water gargle will help, if not better back to the doc. We are seeing a lot of bacteria resistance with azithromycin, especially in cases of strep.

A good gulp of shine 2x a day will break it up.

1.25oz of bourbon, tablespoon of honey, half ounce of fresh lemon juice and a cup of water.

Heat the water to a boil, add lemon juice and stir in honey until it dissolves and then drop a shot in it. It works and is tasty....sip on as many as needed.

If you can do it. Chew up and swallow two Bayer aspirins. It will kill the pain when it coats the sore places.. Always works too.

i always do the warm salt water 4-5 times a day. Thats what the dr recommended when i had strep

Salt water gargle as others have mentioned always helped me. Also sipping on bourbon works and is a little more pleasurable
