I only did this because this is the best place on the property to park the truck to keep it hidden. You can't tell from the pick, but the truck is in a little valley and is very hard to see from any direction. Last Tues morning I watched 2 really good bucks feeding around just across that fence on the neighbors property. They were ~250 yards away.

My closest walk is about 250 yds my furtherest is a lil over a mile

I walk for the pleasure of it really. I've shot good deer both ways, walking in or riding in close. My track is 100 yards to a long ways to the back.

One is only 100-150 yards from truck. Most are a good bit further.

1/4 mile is where I like to be

From my house to the stand is a quarter mile straightline. Maybe 4/10th due to crooked roads.

I like to shoot them out the bedroom window and let them run to the processor

About 5 minutes to one, 10 minutes to another and 15 minutes to the furthest.

I scoped three out from my bedroom window around 1 yesterday afternoon.

I was hunting from truck last year n killed a good un..i had 20 mins to wait on a guy so I drove to a back field and sit and about 3 mins later he stepped out to cross over..260 yards shot

500 at the most. Usually half that.

Bought an electric golf cart and never walk over 100yds.
Some stands 25yds.

20yrds to 1/2 mile.
