I'm sure he's stepping away from the team to focus on his recovery and to enter the NFL draft. As big of a name as he is in sports, It's probably easiest for him to go on and have a Press Conference so it doesn't get misconstrued.

He'll say he's got to think of his family's future, which is probably true, and he appreciates all the support he has been given, and it is time to concentrate on his recovery, yada, yada yada.............he's a good guy so he'll thank God a time or two with sincerity. good luck to him if he moves on. If he doesn't he's taken too many blows to the head.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I'm guessing by entering the NFL draft in lieu of staying he has probably considered his brothers opportunity to be the starter next year. Plus the money and the chances of getting injured again. Lot of things to consider for him and his family.

With the overwhelming majority expecting him to go to the NFL draft he could easily announce that on his social media accounts. I think he may be announcing a comeback to complete unfinished business. I could be completely wrong, but that's my opinion.
