Just man up bammers.

You have the most talent rich roster in all of college football and your hall of fame coach just lost to Ed Orgeron and Gus Malzahn.

Let that sink in.

What part of backup QB do you not get? You cant even beat GA that lost to SC.

Your backup quarterback has been at Bama since your ‘starter’ was in 10th grade. Let’s don't act like he is a true freshman. Speaking of freshman, Bo Nicks says hey.

Why are u barners so obsessed with Bama? Enjoy your win and move on. I’m sure Gus is already thinking about putting the field goal kicker at qb, the punter at full back and the qb at right guard for some obscure situation in next years game. He is a clown. Enjoy being 8-3, or 7-4.

Thats being prepared for any situation that may arise. Unlike the coaching staff in Tuscalooser.

Yeah auburn beat alabama but that aint good enough, the auburn fan club has to make it out to be much different than it was in order to feel good about themselves.

Did you not get the backup QB? That means he wasn't good enough to start! Alabama didn't play Ga but Auburn lost to them. Good for yall but your not close to a Natty!

Nothing like good old post loss smack talk.

For years I've always heard the bammers say the second best team in the country, SEC, or State (take your pick, I've heard all three) was bammer's second string. I guess we can put that rumor to rest.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Gus 62-30 Au.0

Nick 151-23 Ua. '09 11 12 15 17.

Nick beloved despite those 23 losses.

Gus not so much.

Awe let the bAUrners have fun. It doesn’t take much to make them happy. Congrats again to Auburn’s team. They earned it.

Another Bama thread started by a Barner. In yo head 24/7/365. I guess it makes sense when you've been waiting on an Iron Bowl win for a few years and likely will be several more years before the next one

48-45 is the only stat or poll that matters bammers.

Gus just beat the savior for the 2nd time in three years.

Both sides can talk smack all they want, the fact is Saban got out coached by Gus again and all he could do is complain about how it wasn't fair.

Meh. Alabama was the dominant team of the last decade. 4 national championships and the most wins. A 3 point loss to Auburn doesn’t change that. Maybe the run is over and Saban has lost a step. If so it’s been fun 👍🏻

Yeah let's play this game of the past. Remember that one time when Auburn won 6 Iron Bowls in a row? Saban hasn't been able to get anywhere near that and has lost 2 of the last 3. And...go bammers. We can reminisce all day but the current reality is we are once again reigning Iron Bowl champs.

Print the T-shirt’s and hang the banners.

9-3 IRON BOWL CHAMPS

Lol

By the way, this decade JUST ended. I’m simply stating that Alabama has been on a historic run and it might be over. The current reality is that Alabama is still a top 10 team and almost beat Auburn with a back up QB making his first start on the road.

Also you do see the irony in posting a meme about Bama not going to the playoffs when Auburn hasn’t even been in the discussion and has NEVER been 😂😂😂😂😂

Auburn had to play 5 top ten teams this year so it's a little different. And it is just my opinion but Bama is nowhere near a top ten team this year. I know reality just won't set in for you guys but they have zero quality wins and gave up over 40 pts to LSU (at home and with the exalted Tua in play) and Auburn both. Bama is not top 10 by any stretch of the imagination. You can claim luck and voodoo or beat themselves or whatever but to the rest of us it is clear they just don't have it this year. And just so all of my fellow aldeer members know, one of my oldest and best friends is the most obnoxious bammers you could ever imagine and we jab each other and move on. My point is this is all light hearted for me because it is just a bunch of 20 year old kids playing a game. If my posts offend any bammers, well good.

And you guys need to calm down and get a grip. Saban's run is not over. I wish it was but I don't think so. Your crippled defense just couldn't stop any decent offense this year. I don't care how good your offense is, a weak D puts you out of the CFP picture. The one thing I will say about Saban slipping is that he better get that temper under control. That will transfer onto the players and they WILL lose more often if he continues to pitch temper tantrums.

I don't think it's crying. It's more in the fact that you awbs are just really fun to mess with. You wouldn't think there's a awb fan left on Earth until y'all win a game, especially against bama and y'all come out of the woodwork like a bunch of roaches crowing about how y'all are going to dominate for the next 20 years. This is the liveliest this forum has been since the last time y'all won and did the same thing. It is very entertaining. Enjoy the win and crow on.

I don't participate in the smack talk and rarely post in this forum. I was pulling for Bama to win to get Gus over to Arkansas.

With that said, I've never, ever, not once met a humble Bama fan. They simply don't exist as far as I can see.

If this is the beginning of the end as some people are saying. It was the best run college football has ever seen, and I enjoyed every minute of it. It further cemented Alabama as the greatest football program of all time. I guess Bama fans can live with that. And rest of you can live with cheering for a second tier team that will never measure up in any way to the elite programs in college football.

Some years it is, some years it is not. If you will go back through most of the old posts on here from this season, the Bama fans were saying after the first couple games that this was not the team and certainly not the championship caliber teams they have fielded in the past. Nobody made the second string comment a single time in this forum this year, that I am aware of. If they did, they were delusional. Defense was sub-par and the offense could not establish a smash mouth running game to compliment the pass. To be honest, without the easy schedule, Bama probably wouldve lost at least one other game and been 9-3 like AU.

And yet he had no trouble with Bama. Pretty much moved the ball at will passing and rushing. Hmmmm.

I wouldnt exactly call 350 yds of total offense, while going 15 for 31 and 170 yds passing, moving the ball at will. Once again, trying to shape the narrative to fit your dream.

You should open your eyes and look around. I have been impressed with the way Bammers have handled every loss since I got on aldeer. Each time numerous Bammers have congratulated the other team and their fans then move along. Then when Bama wins it's usually mentioned briefly then they dont mention it again. I see much more humbleness from the red and white than the orange and blue on this board.

He's completing less than 50% of this passes each and every game against real teams. And to think, all you Aubbies said he was going to win a heisman this year. Not now, not ever. I sure hope Gus can find a JUCO transfer to step in for yall next year so that you can get your 8 wins.

No,not all of us Aubbies said he was going to win the heisman...

If my posts offend any bammers, well good.

you mean the lsu game with a wounded tua fresh out of surgery and the au game with back up qb. Seemed like both games were pretty close too. I'm sure you didnt watch many of the Bama games, most of yall dont watch many of the au games either. But if did you would of seen that with a healthy Tua, things would of been a lot different.

Just for the record since it has never happened before. I have beat as many ranked teams this year as Saban!

With that said, I've never, ever, not once met a humble Bama fan. They simply don't exist as far as I can see.

I agree with Ben. The overwhelming majority of Auburn fans on this site will never and have never given Bama’s football accomplishments the past decade it’s due. It’s either some lame post insulting someone for being a Bama fan or just a troll saying that the Tide cheat to win championships. Hardly ever a discussion about football philosophy or X’s and O’s. And yes there are some ignorant Bama posters too but it doesn’t seem like as many as Auburn fans and jock sniffing riders of other programs that have beaten Bama. Just my opinion looking through Crimson colored glasses and being an above average smart fella. grin

I don't participate in the smack talk and rarely post in this forum. I was pulling for Bama to win to get Gus over to Arkansas.

With that said, I've never, ever, not once met a humble Bama fan. They simply don't exist as far as I can see.

I think any level headed Bama fan knew the defense wasn’t very good and that we’d probably drop a couple, however, it is embarrassing that we lost to Auburn who is at the bottom of the barred of the SEC and has a goofy coach. I’ll never understand why they signed that clown to an extension. Hats off though to Kevin Steele. I just hate he has to look over at that clown every day.

I’m ok with just winning national championships every other year or so. This loss just gives the barners false hope of maybe one day they will get one.

Sorry, Kevin Steele ( I edited) I wish Bill Oliver would still call in Finebaum. I used to like that segment when I used to listen.

The schmuckiest, mickey mouse crap I've ever seen is Gus doing that childish fist swoop and yelling boom! Nothing makes me eye-roll more than that. I can't even explain exactly why it bugs me, because I don't actually dislike Gus, but geez that's schmucky.

And really Alabama has been a shell of a good team all season, I'm a fan, but I thought we were a fake just waiting to be exposed. I wish I could've seen them play ONE single game the last 3 years with all of their best players at full speed and complete health. And when I say a "fake", what I mean is I think we had a whole bunch of average talent, surrounded by a handful of super elite players (the receivers, Najee, and Tua). The country still viewed Bama by reputation as having a quasi-NFL roster, but the truth is they've been really average on the lines for a couple of seasons. It flies all over me to hear the broadcasters talking about "this Alabama defense" (like it's crazy good), because I'm like "what defense y'all been watching?????"

This is the dumbest argument, Alabama absolutely skull drug those teams. This would only be a relevant argument if they struggled by those weak teams.

An example would be Clemson, who should have lost to N. Carolina, and at least early in the year had some closer-than-should-have-been games against nobodies.

Alabama's problem this year was defense, that was obvious from the Duke game and it never got better, at all. But they could have dropped 100 points on most of the teams they played....literally they were running clock by halftime.
